Bio
I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science at Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University and Sahand University of Technology, respectively. I then earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Sydney, where my research focused on optimizing Quality of Service (QoS) parameters—such as energy efficiency, delay, and throughput—in edge computing-enabled Internet of Things (IoT) networks. After completing my Ph.D., I held two postdoctoral research positions at the University of California, Irvine, and the University of California, Davis. In both roles, I led projects that applied machine learning techniques to real-world problems, including healthcare, networking, and large domain-variant datasets.
Beyond the world of science and technology, I find joy and balance in my personal pursuits. Walking and swimming are not only physical activities for me but also they are forms of meditation that help me disconnect from the noise of daily life and connect with a deeper, more reflective space. These moments allow me to calmly contemplate the challenges I face, both professionally and personally. I am also deeply drawn to philosophy, literature, and mysticism. I find inspiration in reading thought-provoking books, writing poetry and prose, and reflecting on the spiritual and metaphysical dimensions of life. I enjoy painting, exploring ideas through visual art, and immersing myself in music and cinema, especially grand films and Persian traditional music, which resonate with my cultural and artistic roots.
I believe that creativity lies at the heart of both scientific inquiry and artistic expression, and I strive to bring that spirit into everything I do; whether it is designing an AI algorithm or writing a poem.
