Bio

I received my B.Sc. in Information Technology (IT) from Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University. I also did my master’s degree in IT under the supervision of Prof. Akbar Ghaffarpour Rahbar by focusing on computer and communication networks. I proposed novel algorithms in my research thesis to improve the efficiency of a special kind of optical networks, namely elastic optical networks (EONs), in terms of network delay as well as resource utilization. I received my M.Sc. from Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz, Iran.

I pursued my Ph.D. in Electrical and Information Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Abbas Jamalipour at The University of Sydney, in December 2021. My research focused on providing different quality of service (QoS) requirements such as energy efficiency, delay, and throughput in edge computing-enabled Internet of Things (IoT) networks. Currently, I am a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California Davis (UCD), working under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Biswanath Mukherjee. My research includes investigation optimal resource provisioning in Multi-Band Elastic Optical Networks (MB-EONs) and enhancing the survivability optical networks in the presence of a third-party entity.
